I was wondering is anyone knows where I can get a complete schedule of all flights in and out of Yangyang airport. I have looked on the Korean Air website, but you can only see one flight at a time and you have to guess the flights to see the schedule. I have heard that there are direct flights to Japan from Yangyang, but I can't guess a corect city on Korean Air. It could also be another airline, but I don't know which airlines fly out. Please help me, and keep the "babo" comments to a minimum.

I think international flights to/and from Yangyang have been stopped due to it not being as popular as anticipated...
I do know that some charter Japanese flights(mainly yonsama fan flights) still do the flight...
I think the only city it flew to was Osaka anyway... |

An airport with 1 flight a day? Maybe they should just convert it into a bus station or something. |

That's Sokcho Airport, right...?
There should be at least 5 flights each way to Seoul a day on KAL.
Maybe with the mushroom festival in YangYang in a couple of months there may be some Japan flights operating. The Japanese love that crap. |

Its OK cause I know him, but last time I asked a question I got "ٺ" and that dude didn't know what he was talking about either.
I dropped by the Yangyang airport yesterday and it was really weird! There was nobody there, most of the lights were off and everything inside seemed to be closed. The doors were open though.
I did know about the 12:45 to Busan. That's the only info I could find on the internet, but a friend told me there were flights to Busan, Gimpo (Seoul), Russia and Japan. |

I think you got that right folks -- one flight in & out daily between Yangyang & Busan.
3rd largest airport in Korea, capable of handling 2 million passengers a year!
They ran a promotional thing last winter vacation with a handful of flights to Japan.
Stupid. We're seriously disenfranchised up in this corner of the country. Before Yangyang we had daily flights to Gimpo from Sokcho & if the weather wasnt good a couple daily from Gangneung. Now nothing. |

Wow, that's pretty stupid. But I agree the old Sokcho one was disastrous. More than about a 5 knot wind and it seemed like flights were cancelled. But now nothing...? That must be the biggest waste of money in history. |
