I just checked the Pride website (and what a sad site it is), and Denis Kang is listed there as being from Vancouver.

What a poser. Oh, and Pride, UFC, and K-1 suck. That's right, folks, you heard it here first.

Unbelievable; more internet warrior. "Poser" ay? He trains and lives in Vancouver. Btw, I can hook you up with Denis in Korea. Though I'm sure he's somewhat reluctant to fight an amatuer with no $ at stake.

Old UFC rocked. New one suck.

I enjoy watching G5 fights its quite funny watching bunch of amatuer fights knock each other sensless.

That is if you enjoy amatuers fighting professionals and enjoy a lot one-sided beating.

MMA has evolved a lot since the early UFC days. Now days, the best fighers actually fight in Japan for bigger purse.

I watch a lot of Pride fighting. I constantly saw Denis Kang the Super Korean ads. When I did see him he looked like a Waygook. So I did a little googling, it turns out that he actually is a Canadian the son of Korean-Francophone immigrant. That explained his accent when ever he spoke. I really found this interesting.

The most ironic part to me is that he is not even trained in Tae Kwon do.

He's not just a francophone, but a Frenchman. He lived on the St-Pierre and Miquelon islands before moving to Canada.

Because it is the "Mixed Martial Art." Rolling Eyes TKD is too one-dimensional to be successful in MMA. Although there have been may successful fighters with TKD background, such as Bas Rutten

Here is a linky for Bas's highlight in Shootfighting and UFC:

I'm serious too - I used to participate in bareknuckle tourneys all the time back home. I'd love to sharpen my somewhat rusty skills, but the people here (foreigners included) are all skinny dwarves. It's so disappointing...
