Hi all.
We're leaving in a couple weeks to head over to Korea, and I was wondering what people did about printers. We're going to be getting a laptop here and bringing it over, but a printer seems awfully big to pack (plus the added weight), so we'd rather get one over there if possible.
Does anyone know if there will be compatability problems if we buy a printer in Korea and try to run it on a computer bought in Canada? Do any of you even bother with a printer at home, or can you usually use a computer at your school and print stuff off there?
anyone? |

| There will be no problem at all. You can get a brand new printer very cheaply here. As long as you install the right drivers for the printer, it is next to impossible for it to conflict with your computer. |

You're on the right track buying later.
If you do consider buying/bringing a printer back just remember to check voltage; If it's only good for 220v you have to consider whether it's worth lugging it home only to have to go out and buy a step-down transformer to hook it up to. |
