Not trying to sale anything, but I want to more effectively work out and a heart monitor is a real must if you want to be in "The Zone" where youi know it is really benefitting you. I have researched the monitors and decided on this one. It looks a little complexed with all of its options, but I will work it out. You can upload the stats each time and keep record of your progress on the net. I think this is especially important for serious aerobic workouts. I am 50 so I want to be certain that I remain in the correct zone. Also, I love electronic gadgets. Has anyone ever used monitors in your workout?

The New Polar F11 heart monitor is A fitness enthusiasts dream come true. It's the world's only heart rate monitor that creates a workout program to tell you how much, how hard, and how long to exercise to reach your goals.

a lot of modern Cardio Vascular machines (step machines, treadmills, exercise bikes etc.) have these monitors built in- they're interesting because the zone you're supposed to be in, isn't as difficult to maintain as you might think.

I know that many of the aerobic machines have te built in monitors. I will be using the gyms, but I also lke to get out and run in the hills. These monitors do a lot more than just keeping you in the Zone. The one I am getting is a little computer and helps you meet your targets and keep very detailed records....they are amazing little things

I'm thinking about picking up this heart monitor and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is good?
