| I downloaded the film to see what the fuss is about and it is certainly the most appaling piece of crap film I've ever seen. It was quite funny in a way as it is just so completely and utterly corny. |

Yes 1 is from lockheed and 1 from boeing, they are competing to see which is taken up by the US military. The Hover jet gets proposals from the Navy and Marines, the other from the airforce. The problem is the cost is too high to have both.

Got any links for that? Cause I'm watching a Leno repeat where they show a clip from the movie with the 2 planes, and they sure as hell aren't JSF or Raptor program planes.
EDIT: I think you might have been thinking of this, but except for the shape and placement of the air intake it doesn't look like either of the planes in STEALTH.
Perhaps the planes in Stealth are loosely based on real prototypes in the same way that parts of Macross spaceships look like real planes. |
