I cooked a beef stew last night with my COSTCO Australian steaks, which usually sell in a pack of about five for about 14,000 won. That's always a sweet meal that if you do the crock-pot stew thing with some veggies, you can make it last a few days or more. ... I still say the COSTCO Apple Pie is awesome and a heck of a bargain at about 8,000 won. ... I also picked up these frozen quesadillas and they were an honest-to-God pleasant surprise, cost was 13,000 won. ... The deli chicken enchiladas, although made with flour tortillas, are also pretty high on my list as well. ... And I haven't tried their seafood pizza, but I've also seen that in the deli pizza section and it's on my list for next time, price 11,000 won. |

Wow, you're making me jealous. We haven't gotten around to getting a membership, but I hear they've got a lot of useful stuff. We're still poking around in the shijang or importing for our western groceries. As for the tortillas and quesadillas, there's a great flour tortilla recipe at http://www.texasrollingpins.com/tortillarecipe.html. Cheaper and tastes better than buying tortillas here. |
