Well we've had a thread looking at cheesy chat up lines in english, and I think we should explore their korean counterparts.
So, anyone know any bad chatup lines in korean? (+their translations)
Along the lines of "If I said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me". A cheesy chatup line and my waigook powers when combined would be unstoppable, MWAH HA HA then i'll be in the Herald too!  |

I also like:
How much soju can you drink? Seriously, I had that come up in talking with Korean males, so I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they also use it on women. However, I don't think they were trying to pick ME up. Or were they? Hmm. Too many gochu on the weekend. |

Yikes! I heard you the first time. I was waiting for you to delete them. Perhaps it was by design.
No, I haven't gone to the other side. It comes from the weekend thread. I was in the country picking gochu with the in-laws. Actually, I think the wife got her hands on more gochu than me. She seemed more adept at it. I found it hard to be on my knees for so long at a time. I tried standing and bending down to get them, but it was a little uncomfortable. Sitting on my ass was okay, but then I got all full of shit. Oh well. Perhaps it's not for me. |
