Does anyone know where I can find big slabs of cooking chocolate or lasagne sheets, preferably in Daegu, or maybe even in Seoul? Obviously not for the same recipe!! |

I've definitely seen lasagne noodles at Hanam Supermarket in Seoul, and they usually have baking chocolate too.
Search this site for a map, it's been posted lots |

Cool! Thanks Peppermint! If I can't find any in Daegu, then I'll be definitely heading over there the next time I'm in Seoul. |

Carrefour has both since very recently. You find the lasagne sheets in the pasta section and the baking chocolate in the confectionary section (although on the off chance it might actually be with the baking stuff!). |

Carrefour has both, that's the 2nd best piece of news I've heard all day! My first was a salary increase!
I'll be off to Carrefour as soon as I get my pay check at the end of the month.
Thanks tzechuk. |

I bought the lasagna at Hannam Market, but I would warn you against the ricotta. The stuff had the ex'y dates rubbed off and was spoiled and blolated (the platic rises off the lid because the cheese is decaying and giving off gas) I tried freezing it but apparently it was rot when I bought it. Buy ricotta at Star Super, it was wonderful. Anyone know where to buy fennel seeds for authentic-tasting Italian sausage. |
