Does anyone know any place in Seoul where I can walk in on a weekend and walk out with a bank check in US funds bought with won? Or a good deal on a pre paid credit card? |

KEB offers secured credit cards, and they'll do money orders- are bank cheques the same thing? The thing is, no bank in Korea is open on weekends. |

I was thinking there might be sleazy check cashing places (like in the states) where I could pay an exorbitant fee but get what I need on a weekend. Maybe this podunk town I live in has a KEB; I guess that is a bank and the initials stand for?

Koreans don't really use cheques, so you're out of luck there. I've heqard that a few of the banks have branches at the airport that are open on Saturdays, including KEB ( Korea Exchange bank) |
