Hey I don't see Suwon Station.
Is this like some mission that you're out to acheive, or are you just drinking an absolute crapload of coffee..?
Please tell me if you're bombarding your system with this much crap that you're doing it in style with frapaccinos and not dantily sucking on a Lite Green Tea Chai that you ordered to balance out the calorie intake that goes with the lettuce salad you had for lunch.
Come on baby....I wanna hear tales of stomachaches and caffeine induced diarrhea.

And I thought I had too much spare time....

I've only ever set foot in one Starbucks so I can't beat your record. I'm not even in your league. Hell if there was a league I wouldn't even be a bench-warmer in the minors.

Laughing

MMT, you are a CAFFEINE JUNKIE, A Starbucks whore.
So what do you order from there?
Do you get a straight up espresso, or do you go all girlie and get lots of foam and chocolate and cinamon sprinkles and vanilla flavouring?

And of course you win the most Starbucks visited hands-down, but now that folks know that there is actually some sort of a contest, a challenge, a test of wills, you might find yourself with many challengers throwing down their gauntlets. Why, this thing could get so out of hand, so vicious, so dangerously devolved and downright cranked that I wouldn't be surprised to find blood smears near the doors of some of the smaller locations. I hope you've got the stomach and the cojones to see this thing through to the bitter and squalid end.

Actually it's part of my evil plan. I have a theory there are several people on the North American west coast who want to visit Asia, and possibly Seoul. They are armed with a PDA. Starbucks, not McDonald's, is their comfort zone. To address this, I've conceived a downloadable travel guide to Seoul. Instead of organizing it around where to stay, where to eat, where to shop, I organize it around the Starbucks of Seoul. The theory is your PDA owning, tech savvy, Asian traveler wants to first know "where the hell is a Starbucks and how do I get to it from the subway?" So my guide provides detailed instructions on how to get to each Starbucks from the subway "take exit 4, turn left at the Woori bank, the Starbucks sign is hidden by a KFC sign so don't panic if you don't see it right away..." Once the user has found his Starbucks the guide the reveals, almost as an afterthought, what else one can find around that Starbucks (ie good restaurants, hotels, places to shop, tourist stuff). All directions to these locations are given in relation to the Starbucks and subway.

Why go to Starbucks, there are perfectly good coffee vending machines on every block.

I think the real question is, "Does anyone want to beat me for Most Starbucks Visited?"

Or "Who would want to have sex with a pool full of Thai hookers?"

Personally, I think it would be hard to have sex with a pool.

You may have a point there, so I'm going to have to defer to the expert on the subject:

I could probably be up there on the list for least visits ever to Starbucks. I went in a Starbucks once to use the bathroom in Olympia, Washington.

Thats my only time ever to be in one. It looked really nice though.

When I went to Shanghai last month, we went north of the city to another place called Suzhou. In the middle of all this cool asian culture, a department store appeared out of nowhere with a Starbucks by the entrance. My GF wanted to get a coffee before we started touring the city. I felt like crap for the whole 10 minutes that we were in there, looking out the window at Asia from the numbing familiarity of a western cliche. While I'm here, I'd far more rather drink a dinky half cup of coffee in a pojangmacha tent and look out at this world. Starbucks will be waiting for when I go back across the pond. S'pose I can't apply the same line of thought about where to go and eat the occasional steak here, though. Confused

I don't know what's worse; that someone would be proud that they'd visited so many branches of Starbucks, or that there are that many of the evil damn things in such a small area. Wink

Anyone for a McD's marathon?
