Relax & just see it for what it truly is: another cheap excuse for a state subsidized "working" vacation & all too cunning ploy for armed & dangerous kimchi heads to get extended free overseas English lessons
If the region REALLY needs foreign troops you can bet we'll hear about it. From the looks of it, one-world global military advocates will likely have to wait until at least the next big one hits.
"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order [referring to the 1991 LA Riot]. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond [i.e., an "extraterrestrial" invasion], whether real or promulgated [emphasis mine], that threatened our very existence.
It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government."
Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991 |

Wouldn't take a rocket scientist to say that the U.S. won't be taking the offers of help from Cuba, Venezuela or Iran. |
Iran didn't offer any help |
Actually, they have ....

Qatar has offered the United States $100 million to assist in the humanitarian crisis triggered by Hurricane Katrina.
Saudi Refining, a Houston-based subsidiary of state oil firm Saudi Aramco, will donate $5 million to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts for hurricane victims.
Iran has offered to send humanitarian aid to hurricane victims, Reuters reported. "We are prepared to send our contributions to the people through the Red Crescent," Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi told Reuters. |

Summary
The United States on Sept. 7 rejected an offer from Iran to supply 20 million barrels of oil to Washington as assistance in the wake of Hurricane Katrina -- on condition that the United States waive trade sanctions against Iran. The Iranian offer was aimed at testing how far Tehran can go toward enhanced ties with the United States. Washington's rejection does not, however, signal the end of the matter, as other avenues for the improvement of bilateral ties will be explored by both sides. |
