...but that was about them playing in Busan, and it was a hoax.
I thought I'd post this info. as that thread now seems redundant.
Buena Vista Social Club present Omara Portuondo (vocalist).
2005/11/05 - Saturday - 7:30pm.
�������б� �밭�� (Yonsei University) - Auditorium Hall.
Tickets: -

Buena Vista Social Club are the backing band. Omara Portuondo is the female vocalist who appeared on the album. Ibrahim Ferrer sadly died last year. Some additional info. can be found here: -

There is also "The Bar at Buena Vista" coming to Ewha Oct 1-3. According to Seoul Magazine this a Cuban music/dance show with original members of the BVSC.
Could be an interesting show |
