A piece of the school roof blew off today, rather disturbing a middle school class of mine, and all the high schoolers are upstairs eagerly awaiting the decision of whether school will be cancelled tomorrow. The level of random screaming (quite high at the best of times) has increased considerably, too, as the day's progressed.

Today is pretty nice and clear, actually. After I heard the principal was having a meeting to decide whether to cancel school today I checked the whether report, which said as much. I wonder if any of them did? We even started school late today just in case.

Wednesday - beautiful clear sunny day..... dammit. I was hoping we'd have another really horrible day and classes would be cancelled again! Dang!
