| In summary, an innocent poster told about a movie he watched. He was quickly attacked and abused (almost harassed) by other posters claiming he was the meanest poster on the board. I try to say, wait, he didnt say anything mean, and then I myself get attacked. I am called unpopular, a sock etc. I might be new, but gosh, you are doing to other what you are accusing him of doing. That is hardly acceptable behavious from adults is it? I think mods need to close witch hunts like this. It is not good or useful for the board. |

There's a lot of history here that you apparently know nothing about.
You do seem to be quite intent on being the board's stoolie, hope that works out for you.
"I'm going to tell the mods!" is a pretty lame threat.
Just do it, or not.
Don't harp about it like it's some huge threat you're holding over everyone's head.
All anyone has to do these days is click on the red exclamation mark, so it's not like it takes herculean effort and steely determination or anything. |

I am just telling who how I see it. You can re-read the whole thread and I believe you would come to the same conclusion.
I accept your apology desultude.
As for stoolie, I hope you dont mean that in a derogatory way. It is true I have used the "red exclamation" button alot, but think it is there just for that purpose. I want to post on a happy friendly "legal substances" board, not one where everyone is mean, and talking about illegal things.

Again- there is a surprising amount of backstory which you are apparently missing.
(read between the lines here: it's an old fight which does not require your intervention; "Yesterday's Child" is a big boy and doesn't need you to stand up for him, and Dogbert has reasons for being pissed off). |

The poster in question has a history of being harsh, threatening, and profane to me and several other people on this forum. He has been banned for this, yet keeps popping up with numerous tolerated socks.

I am not sure what you are refering to, but I told you that I didnt think your "illegal" thread was not a good representation of the expat community. I brought it to the attention of the moderators and it was subsequently removed. I was just doing my job as any responsible poster would do. The mods work hard enough as it is, so deserve a break and posters to help them continue to do the great job that they do. |
