HBO has a new series: "Rome". These are the same people
that brought us "The Sopranos" and "Sex and the City". Lots
of sex, violence and intrigue. So a lot of you people who post
here should give it a wide berth. You may wet your diapers!

| Yeah, I've enjoyed the first two episodes. Roman history has always fascinated me, so I was curious about this. It was a little underwhelming when I realised they were re-hashing the Julius Caesar story though. That's been done to death for the last 500 or so years, but they've put a decent spin on it here. I especially like the sub plots surrounding the two foot soldiers from the 13th legion. The whole thing looks very realistic. Recommended. |

ROME has a real DEADWOOD feel.
If you know the preproduction story you will know why.
ROME also features nudity and tons of swearing ...
I have only seen #1 ... but it is so far "DEADWOOD" good. |

You mean you know what's going to happen in season 2 which is due to be aired in Spring of this year? |
