| Anyone know how to go about getting a visa for a US citizen... is this a long and drawn out process? Thank you for the help in adavance. |

I've been 3 times over the years and got my visas from Australia twice and Thailand once. In the first two cases it took around a week. In Bangkok I paid a 'fee' to expidite the service and got it same day. A friend who just came back said that you have to pay around 80 bucks for a 6 month tourist visa. Hope this helps. |
