They have 'em at Kyobo Bookstore in Gwanghwamun, but are a slight pain to find. They're right at the front of the English part of the store near the tables where most of the Korean textbooks are laid out. To the side of the tables there's a sorta vertical shelving unit, and the tapes are about 3 shelves up from the bottom.

There is now a new series of practice books for Levels 1-3 of the SNU series, too (and they're huge!), which have CDs for listening exercises. I'm on Level 4 now, but I bought the Level 3 practice book and cds just for review. Pretty decent- I'd reccommend it.

The tapescripts are in the back of the book.

Sit at a coffee shop or oustide the Family Mart and ask attractive members of the opposite* sex to help you by reading the tapescripts. It's good if you've made copies of them, so you can write your answers in the book as they read them. Use a pencil.

Then, when you've had a decent conversation and hopefully got a phone number, erase your answers and repeat the exercise with the next attractive member of the opposite* sex that comes along.

*my personal preference, but someone of the same sex can be just as helpful

Yep.

The practice books were just released, so I guess they realized CDs were the way to go. I doubt sales of the tapes (for the regular books) have been decent enough for SNU to justify re-doing 'em on CD.

If you had to choose, I'd say take the CDs... There's way more content, the media's better, and like the other guy said, you can get random people to read the practice dialogues (from the regular books) with ya.
