You Ozzies need some wickets sharpish. You're already looking at 6 an over, and climbing all the time. That's in no way unreachable mind you!

Congrats, Luds Razz England did it. Still 40 overs to go - a virtual one-day innings, but it's finished. That was a fvcken good series played in great spirit.

I hereby bequeath on behalf of my country
this little tiny urn ~ don't lose it Cool (photo is actual size)

Ah that felt good. We haven't bequeathed anything for over ten years, it feels so good to finally be giving something back to the country that has given - I mean from whom we have taken - so much. Very Happy

Hasn't the trophy been kept in engalnd for years anyway? (something about it being too fragile to travel..?)

anyway, nice work fellas, the aussies too (particularly warne, clearly the gretest cricketer of the last few years)

i'm going to be insufferable at work tomorrow!!! (hangover allowing..)

Have you ever been part of that kind of crowd in England? They got great value for their beer this time. There were people hanging out of windows across London trying to get a view of the game. As Richie Benaud would say, mmarvellous stuff, that.

I just saw Richie leave the tv scene forever. Richie damn well is cricket for me. Sad to see him truckin on; I'll miss the old frog a lot come the summer.

Poor ol Brett Lee's gunna bust his boiler. He's furious. Broken heart right there. McGrath's hurting too. Idiots standing in front of the sight screen produced a dead ball, but McGrath bowled it anyway. Knocked the off peg back about 10 yards. The Aussie team put their hearts into it. The results say otherwise, but I watched full coverage of all five games and they gave it everything they had. This is the Ashes and they are feeling this loss more deeply than a subcontinent test series or a Frank Worrell Trophy. They fought hard and lost to a better side. No disgrace in that. Scuse me while I go look for something to cheer myself up a bit with.

Great crowd. Nobody is leaving. They're all dancing. Lotsa sickies in london tomorrow Smile Half their luck.
