Its come back to me, the addiction. Like a crackhead I feel the need to make another B movie. Blame it on a theatre major, blame it on years of evil dead, short circuit, and usa up all night movies, but I need to make another film. Anybody else want to join me?

I know nothing about movies but it sounds interesting. Totally out of the blue too.
I remember one B-movie I liked a lot about milk. A war veteran who stayed in his house and wouldn't go out to buy milk until something happened - anyone see that?

No script yet, just brainstorming with plans for immediate write/shoot/edit/drink. Strategy session is as soon whenever everybody is free, I personally have nothing going on on chuseok, but many people do- open for sugestions on that (or anything else). I doubt this needs to be said, but I am not envisioning resevoir dogs, or the shawshank redemption, or even chuckles the clown. I am envisioning having a great time doing what so many of us love and in the process refing our skills (also building a team) so that in the future we might make something good.

IDEAS (thus far)
1) Expat:the movie- a film showing the lives of three different expats in Korea. Think less docu-drama and more pulp fiction on that.
2) F-you! A love story- I wrote this a while back when I realized that there are very few punk love stories (unless you count sid & nancy or Josie and the pussycats). Definite goofball comedy like CKY or Haggard the movie. Killer soundtrack though.
3) Some hyper gory slasher flick involving asian vampires, zombies, cults and other trappings of Korean life.

I don't have any movie making skills but it sounds like fun so I can help. The expat one sounds cool.

I'm in for the expat one. It's kind of the only one you could pull off considering the limited variety in shooting locations. Can I call dibbs on camera operator?

Alright! Massive response. I expected two guys and a donkey to show up... Anyway, yeah the expat one sounds the best though costumes/effects are not hard- fake blood is easy to make and misha sells cheap makeup. Anyway, my email is [email protected]. Email me if you want to be quiet or post it as the more people publicly involved the more people that will join.
As it looks, I'm thinking a meeting/brainstorming/party next weekend to discuss realities of equipment, jobs, scripts, etc. This will be somewhere in seoul sometime in theweekend. POST IDEAS!!! About anything. This is a real stone soup kinda thing, everyone will add (if they want) and we'll probably be playing iron man by doubling up cast/crew.
awesome, simply awesome response.

I have a few scene ideas I've been kicking around for years. Just scenes in search of the proper context. I lack the patience to write a complete script.
