Hi,

I've been in Seoul for a few months here, but since I am not a hogwan teacher, I'm having a hard time meeting foreigners to hang out with in my area.

Does anyone want to meet up this weekend (which is a long weekend because of Chuseok) and see a movie or get drinks or something?

I've been meaning to get over to Ehwa to see this live music club over there.. it was advertised in Seoul Classifieds recently.. forget the name of it though.

Do you know it?

I'm always up for meeting people, but living in Incheon, I must ask would it be an all night jobby or a early evening jobby? Getting there for 10pm to go home at 11pm would be a smidgen silly. Any one know if the subway has a different schedule this weekend too?

anynight this weekend works for me. i think fri might be best, though, because i suspect a lot of stuff is going to shut down sat/sun/mon for chuseok.

as for those of you coming from outside of seoul, we could start earlier in the night. im always up for drinking early. or if you want to get here really early, we could see a movie, too. i think charlie and the chocolate factory just came out.

how about fri around 7 or 8?

Might be up for something on Friday. Got some things to do on Friday, but hopefully that'll finish up early and I'll feel like heading out.

Sounds good. Let me know when and where. I'm in the same boat as blunder, though, as I live in Incheon also.

Sounds like a plan is shaping up for you guys but if nothing solid is going consider going to Club FF to see some live original rock. the club is offering foreigners a special deal this weekend: no cover and one free drink - because it's Chuseok and we have less to do (supposedly).

You can find out a bit more about the band playing Friday at midnight - SunRadio - and how to get to the club at http://sunradio.blogspot.com

7 or 8 is a bit early, but I'd be down.

Where?

Although hanging out with you obviously "cool" people sounds
great, this is the Annual Chusok Camping trip on Deokjeok-Do.

"Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"??? Too wild for me dudes!
