~ Late pay
~ Contracts continually broken by the management
~ Changing schools without telling the teacher
~ More time without compensation
~ Outsourcing without pay

The list goes on and on....

But the media made it out that we were the bad ones.

Honestly, has the teaching environment in Korea gotten better since the new rules governing teaching visas?

I would think that since the new rules were put in place, things would have gotten better for all parties involved (teachers, management and parents).

I think things are getting better. Just look at the thread on possibly (rumor) changes to the F-2 visa.

No. Subject/verb agreement are still a problem.

The new rule is that you have to pass an extensive test in teaching English grammar in order to get an F2. Pu ha ha!

Sorry all, Mr. Green

The grammar function on my speak-n-spell toy was not working properly yesterday. And I wrote it at 3am in the morning.
Cut me some slack:P
