Just a reminder, the first meeting for anyone interested in making a movie will be this Saturday at the Itaewon Burger Kings second floor. No experience is required as we are making a movie for fun.

Sounds interesting! I haven't been involved in anything like that since I was dating the film major in college. What time? And how will I know you?

I'd love to get involved but I live near Busan (Changwon). Is there anyway I can help but maybe only come up for the actual filming. I'll tell you a bit about myself, I'm a professional photographer and I used to do a lot of work filming for TV pilots, so I'd love to do the cinematography for this film. Sounds like a lot of fun. Plus I have a lot of camera equipment here in Korea, which may come in handy.

Sounds good my friend, but realize that even if you only come for filming that'll probably be ever week. Perhaps you'd like to be an advisor and help block the shots in pre-production?

Isnt it phenominally expensive to shoot on film and have it developed?

What sort of equipment are we talking, here?

I am really curious!

can't speak for BB who has my interest peeked as well, but I was thinking of simple DV cams and using editing software. Forget fim, this movie is for fun+ we have no backers. Plus, I have NO idea where to edit actual film.

Will this be a weekly meeting?
I will try to make this Saturday, but don't know if I can due to other obligations.

I do have experience with this, so keep me informed as to the next meeting.

not precisely and it depends on your involvement. Major characters, stage managers, DP's and the like will need at least most Saturdays free. Writers, extras, wellwishers, and assorted crew will be needed on a lesser basis.

If I remember (I'm pretty forgetful on weekends) and don't have other lunch plans, I'll drop in for a burger and see what gets brainstormed.

Most Saturdays I'm free, it's just that this coming Saturday I will be busy.
So, I'll stop by next week at 2pm.

email me first: [email protected] we may change location if BK kicks us out for loitering or if someone has issues with the location, or if we start production (possible). Anyway, everyone is welcome to email me- I respond quickly as I essentially live online.
