Very Happy And after waiting an hour with my hagwon forms and stuff I go up to the guy behind the desk who says; "You don't need to do this anymore, you can now work anywhere you like legally." First I've heard of this change, it wasn't released on the English immigration website but was there on the Korean version.

Excellent - so it really does work. Thing is, in this country, nothing is true until you test it and see the result.

If you don't mind me asking, which office did you go to for this unnecessary E-2 add-on? I've seen a few different stories now, but it seems like more people than not have been reporting the same as you.

I went to the main Seoul office in Mok-dong. I'm guessing that the story is the same but not all agents have been brought up to speed yet. After all it's a very recent change.

I'm confused.... you still need something to be written on the back of your ARC? I was thinking we didn't need to bother with immigration AT ALL in relation to jobs. Confused

That is the impression I got as well, that they have nothing to do with the employment process for F2s now.
