Did you guys see all of the bars getting raided by government people in Itaewon on Thursday? They appeared to target high-class lady-drink establishments on the main drag. I counted 5 bars filled with government people checking the liquor bottles for the correct Korean taggage (watching for illegal booze bought from the army base).
Some bar owners looked really stressed. One said she hadn't been checked in 9 years. |

Both of the African restaurants on the lower section of Hooker Hill in Itaewon sell the big size Heineken beer bottles that do not have the white thing on the rear of the bottle. A famous import company from Connecticut is listed as the importer.
Funny, tonight at Chas Taylor's African-Western Restaurant, all of the Heneken beer was the stuff made under license by OB. |
