VI,

I'll be driving down to Jinju from here in Cheonan, leaving on Sat. morning early and coming back on Monday. Do you reckon traffic will be absolutely insane?

Thanks.

No it will be fine..

The expressway that goes from Daejeon down the middle of the country into Jinju(and eventually to Tongyong) is dead....you will sit on 100 km/hr the whole way from Daejeon to Jinju, I've had some good runs up through there to get to Seoul, even on chuseok it was about 90km/hr

That's good news. I had my road atlas out and noticed that national expressway 35 runs straight down. You can avoid national expressway 1 that runs from Seoul to Busan, which is the main artery from North to South.

By the way, how long did it take you from Daejon? From Cheonan I'm guessing 3 1/2-4 hours.

No festival for me this weekend ... things have come up and I also see it's meant to rain all weekend. Crying or Very sad I'll give it another crack next weekend, I suppose.
