I am new to soccer. But it is quickly becoming my favorite sport, god forbid it ever over-take the NFL. What is the best internet site for soccer news, fans and all that?? ESPN.com and cbs.sportsline.com couldnt care less about soccer. I appreciate any help, thanks

Yes, see indytruck's post. Once you're a REAL fan you'll do like the rest of the world and call it 'football'. The NFL is American Football, or if you prefer that-pansy-version-of-rugby-league-where-they-only-stay-on-the-pitch-for-five-minutes-at-a-time-and-have-to-wear -padding-in-case-they-break-a-nail-or-something.

HTH.

I guess people can call it what they like, but it frustrates me that Koreans call it soccer.

In the US they have MLS, where the S is for soccer. Like I said, call it what you like.

Here, the national governing body, who set the standards and precedents, is the KFA, not KSA. Anyone can surely see how it's a bit odd for Koreans to be calling it soccer.

Korea Football Association. Not soccer.

FIFA. Same. Internationally.

pad up and go to a training session, then see if you'll be calling it that.
