I havent been to a lot of countrieds like a lot of people here but my favourite by far was Rarotonga.... so beautiful and relaxing.... the people are terrific.... a lifestyle I would love!

Favourit place in Korea... hmmm well, I dont really have a favourite place... I love quiet temples in the mountains, and the festivals... Busan is a terrific city but Im a farm girl at heart.

Bulsajo - What is that in your hand in the water?

Not my hand these are pics from the internet, not my own.

It's just more interesting than typing Grand cayman, Guam, Red Sea, etc.

As for the hand question, the top pic shows a Southern Stingray and the middle pic a Green Moray Eel.

My favorite place to visit in Korea was Chejudo, but I never made it to Hongdo or Ullungdo.

Switzerland at Christmas, though summer is lovely, too.
Egypt, particularly the Sinai peninsula in September.
Thailand- always a good time.
Venice in August.

Sometimes the season is crucial. Paris in January is frigid and can be a bit depressing.

In korea, I would have to say Jirisan, endless hiking and camping, spent 8 days up there camping around although jeju was cool too.

The world, thats tough but likely the Norwegian Fjords for me, prestine to say the least, nature at its finest. I climbed a third of the way up the largest glacier in the European continent. Being from Canada and spent enough time out in BC to compare the two but the Fjords up in Norway are truely spectacular.

Ever get the feeling you've been in Korea for too long? You forgot "and funny". Very Happy

In Korea ~ at the bottom of any pitcher.
World ~ The Maldives. Mainly because of the food. The beaches, reef snorkelling, dhoni fishing and riding the dolphins were swell too though.

I've really enjoyed my trips to Japan. The food is great, the trains are fast, and people actually wait in line there!

Korea: I don't mind Haeundae in Busan, or Busan generally.

World: Anywhere in Mexico (but NOT Mexico City). Bali. Brugge (I also really liked that place). London. St. John's, Newfoundland. Halifax. Phuket, Thailand. Georgetown, Malaysia.

Places I was disappointed in: Jeju. Ottawa. Montreal. Singapore. Phuket Town.
