Okay, so I looked through the FAQ and couldnt find anything that would suit me.

I just moved to Korea about a month ago, and trying to learn the language on my own is going waaaaay too slowly. I'm looking for a night class a few times a week to learn Korean and hopefully meet some other English speakers. As far as I can tell, I'm the only one within a 20 block radius of where I live. I work 9-5 and live off the Gangdong terminal on line 5 (way east end of town, close to the Gil-dong terminal too). One of my main objectives in moving out here was to learn the language, so if anyone could help me out that'd be great.
The closer to where I live the better, but I guess I'm up for a bit of a commute. Oooh, and does anyone know of any foreign hang outs around that side of town, I'm the only foreign teacher at my school, and the only person that speaks English in my building as far as I can tell. The 6 hours of silence after work is getting kinda lonely.

thanks!

So does Yonsei, but it's in the same area as Sogang. Anyone know of classes closer to the OP?

Seoul National University offers Korean classes from 6:30-9:30 every Monday and Thursday evening. The classes are intensive, but I can recommend them if you want to have fun and learn Korean honestly and quickly.

Take the free classes offered by the Korea Foundation to start out. They are once or twice a week and start at the beginning of each month. They are held near City Hall Station.

I've been going there and they are pretty good.

What if I want to learn slowly and dishonestly? What are my options then?
