(This is all hypothetical, but it's something I'm thinking of for the future, and I'd like to stay honest and keep on the good side of the tax & immigration people.)

As a foreign spouse of a Korean national, is it possible to work for two employers? More specifically, is it possible to hold a normal "day job" but also operate a home business with a spouse? For example, the business gets registered under the spouse's name, and whatever profits made (hopefully lots, ha ha) get divvied up between the happy (ever-growing-richer, O may it be so) couple.

Possible?

I had exactly that same question. I work (legally) 2 full-time teaching jobs. Both schools know about the other and have had no problems.

I'm going to immigration today to renew my F-2 visa. Yesterday, by phone, immigration imformed me that they no longer care how many jobs F-2 visa holders have. Nor do they care about the type of job. Immigration officer said that, as long as I was not private teaching, I could do any work I wanted.

Now that I have been told that on the phone I'm interested to see what the reality will be when I stop by immigration later today. I'll post the outcome.
