Hi,
I've bought a new camera, a Canon IXUS 50. The instruction book comes in every other language other than English - does anybody know where I could get my hands on an English version?

Cheers,

Scroll to the bottom of the window that pops up and click on the link that says "PSSD400IXUS55CUG-EN.pdf"

This was found through here.

An internet search - why didn't I think of that Rolling Eyes !

Sorry, I should of been more specific - I'm after an original copy, it's difficult for me to print stuff out here in the sticks - thinking specialist camera shop in Seoul or something?

You are definitely not playing with a full deck if you think it's going to be easier to get an English manual somewhere in Korea than to find a way to print out a PDF file.

Pangit gave you all the help you really need and you give him the rolling eyes of scorn- if I were inclined to help you (which I'm not because you'll just give me the rolling eyes as well) I'd tell you to put that PDF on a usb drive and find somebody in your part of 'the sticks' with a laser printer (hint: PC bang, even the sticks have them).

You should have specified that you wanted an "original copy," and had already done the internet search. Call Canon and order a manual, smartass. Just so you know, the IXUS 50 also goes by the SD400, internationally. Next time, do your own homework.

Ah, come lads, it's all in good fun, - no need to get all hot under the collar.

But, in all fairness, to print out the manual would take 200 pages (no small feat), and, as it happens, I got my hands on an original manual today (yay!)

All's well that ends well eh.........!
