Hi,
I know I've seen the thread elsewhere...but I'm in a bit of a rush and a bind. I'm buying a plane ticket / visa and I just found out that I have to pay in cash. Is there anywhere I can use my Canadian <TD CANADATRUST> debit card at banking machines in Seoul? It works on the PLUS system. Alternatively, I have a Mastercard and VISA. Where can I get cash advances if I can't use my debit card?
Thanks |

Try the KB Bank...it at least worked for a friend of mine who had an account with the RBC, so it might also work for the TD/Canada Trust. Choose the English service and then I think the menus have withdrawal from savings/chequeing account. From what I recall, the transaction slip doesn't give your account balance. Also, I think you have many more options with the credit cards(I think you can get an advance from almost any bank and definitely from those international machines found in LG/GS25 corner stores and what not. |

It should work at most International ATMs in Korean banks, but KEB (Korean Exchange Bank) is probably your best bet. They have the best connections to overseas I am told. |

Subway station ATMs usually accept foreign bank cards. |
