I'll be moving to Busan in a couple of weeks, and was wondering if anyone knows about the availability of some prescription meds in Korea, as I'm sure it would be cheaper to get these there rather than bringing a bunch from the US... First, for occasional migraine headaches, has anyone been prescribed Imitrex (sumatriptan) there? And for the girls, what about birth control pills? I've seen some posts and heard of some there that I don't recognize the names of, but what about the new Seasonale, or anything with a similar low-dose ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel combo?
Thanks... |

Thanks - I can't read Korean yet, but I'll hang on to those sites for when I arrive... I assume from looking at that list that you're saying it should be easy to find the Imitrex equivalent there, as well as that birth control pill with the same formula as what I'm on. So, that's good for me! |

Korea is well advanced with its meds - u dont need to worry
Its basically all the same stuff just different names - they all have the basic ingredients,
most stuff u can just ask the chemist for. not sure about the pill, but thats pretty much the same everywhere |
