Hey all...

I'm a kindy teacher here in Seoul and I have read some good things about that book "Teaching English to Children in Asia". At my school we have a pretty good curriculum for the kids, but I wanna try to add some fun stuff in to aid in their learning. I also have to come up with games and crafty projects for them to do on different days. Do you think this book might help me at all (considering I only teach kindy)? And if so, where can I get a copy of it? I tried searching on What the Book's website but they don't offer it, so I don't know where to go. Also, are there any other books I should maybe check out?

Any help would be great!

The only bookstore in Seoul that I have seen it carried is the one, Brandi and Loomis(sp?) at CO-EX mall in Gangnam.

However they have a lot of copies in stock there.

It's a great little teaching primer with some good tips for what works with children from Asian cultures. The resource section at the back of the book is worth it's weight in gold if you're new to teaching and need some ideas.

I bought it at Gyobo Books in Gangnam.

Ok, so today I checked at Bandi & Lumi's (sp?) in Coex mall and they are out of this book! They also don't have any in any of their other locations either! Can you believe that?

So I guess I'm off to Kyobo Books then. I've already tried the one in Jongno so I'm going to the one in Gangnam tomorrow. How do I get there though? I have no idea where that one is located...

Can anybody tell me?

Also, does anyone maybe have a used copy that they'd like to sell me?
Oh please, oh please?

Go to Gangnam Station (line 2) and walk out exit 6 (you should see the advertisement for "Pagoda Style" and the Kyobo Building inside the station by exit 6). Walk straight until you see the Kyobo Towers building. Go to the basement of the building and you're there! Have fun! The bookstore isn't as cramped as Jogno.

Did you try Kim and Johnson's? They're also in Gangnam. They have a really good selection of teaching resources and kid books. They're in the same building as Marche near exit #5 of Gangnam Station.
