Hey,

I need a place to stay in Seoul from this Friday <14th> through to Monday <17th>.

Can anyone reccommend a decent and cheap place to stay?

Thanks,

It all depends where in Seoul you will be. Near Gimpo airport? Incheon airport? Train station? Bus station? It's a really big city and there are many places to stay... if you can narrow the area down a little, maybe someone can help.

I'll be coming in by intercity bus, to Seoul. So I was thinking somewhere near the bus terminal or the city centre or an underground stop?

Inexpensive hotels are not easy to find in Seoul. Even a second or third class hotel can cost $70 a night. On the lower end, I've stayed at a place called Hotel Mirabeau (close to Edae subway station in Sinchon). It wasn't too bad, English speaking counter person...

Depends on what kind of hotel you want, I suppose. I have a favorite spot I stay at when I wander up to Seoul. It has a Korean style bed but it's quite comfy and only 40,000 a night.

I'm not going to say where it is here, though, or it's gonna be all booked up next time I want to stay. Laughing

But, if anyone's interested, PM me. Cool

seoul has thousands of cheap yogwans and love hotels. they are cheap and clean and you get free lame korean porn. unless you want to spend a lot of won on a "proper" hotel, i'd stick with the yogwans ... 25-50,000 per night.
