Hey, I've just arrive here in Anyang. Looking for some other people to meet up with for some beers and such. Um, I'm 23 from Canada, if you wanted to know.

I'm in Suwon...only 5 or 6 subway stops from Anyang. I've never gone to hang out in Anyang but I've been thinking about going sometime.

Anyang consists many different subway stops. I really like it here because it has its own little neighborhoods that offer different things. And there's the mountain, too.

I live in Bisan-dong, across the street from the Anyang Stadium complex (and 6,000 won hockey). The closest subway stop is Beomgye.

I know many foreigners hang out in downtown Anyang, near the Anyang subway station. In Beomgye, I have noticed a favorite hangout is the Atlanta bar, up from Exit 2 at Beomgye Station.

Even though I have friends here (ahem, GAJackson, no sign of ye), I am also looking for more foreigners close by.

Do a search for one of the following and you'll come up with a lot of info:

Anyang
Beomgye
Pyeongcheon
Uiwang [actually the next city over, but close enough]
Indeogwan

Yeah, I recommend Rockssin. I've only been once, followed by dancing in the Hip Hop Club across the way.
