What's all this about? Where are all the other North American countries from the Yucatan to Panama, and our special North American piece of Denmark?

Yucatan to Panama would definetely be Mexomerica!

But whats it all about.. its a theory by Joel Garreau who wrote a book about it:

OMG are you one of those people who goes to Argentina and asks the people why they aren't all eating burritos and enchiladas? Latin America is not just an extension of Mexico!

Anyway, what about Greenland?

I've already been to Argentina.. yeah, no burritos down there! Definetely not!

Anyhow.. its not my theory.. its based on a book. I believe the author originally intended it to be ONLY US/Canada.. but somehow came to spread it out to encompass parts of Mexico as well.

Anyhow.. not even sure if Central America is part of the theory.. probably not.. never read the book.. just passing around the map. Cool

I picked Empty Quarter but it's a bit misleading for where I come from. Kind of weird to think that each and every major oil company in the country has their headquarters in Empty Quarter.

Haha, true enough. Probably images like this one caused the author to name it empty.

I think there is amazing beauty in all of the regions ... the name doesn't mean much.
