Kimchi Culture Could Cure Bird Flu
Among the many miraculous properties attributed to the Korean staple side dish kimchi may be the ability to cure bird flu, Seoul National University scientists say. A research team lead by Prof. Kang Sa-ouk said Tuesday they created a food mixture containing a lactic ferment from kimchi that is effective against the avian flu and sent it to Indonesia, where the virus is rampant.

You'd almost think that they might devise some kind of kimchi solution to combat fan death.

i want ya'll to think...really think....if any other country, especially one of ours, boasted such bullsh*t it what would be the reply from foreigners??

the fact that such idiocies are posted on national newspapers as fact or even speculation are maddening...we do not know the depths of their nationalism. i don't think this even scratches the surface.

thank god they're really bad at fighting wars, unlike some OTHER uber pure blooded nationalists...apparently kimchi doesn't cure being a 5,000 year old loser with an inferiority/superiority chip GASHED onto your shoulder. whoever wrote that article is an f-ing dork.

Thanks for the heads up once again RR. I don't know if I love you or hate you...you make it easy for me to slam this joint...but some of your articles just boil me!

I broke my leg last year and my Kwife put kimchi on it everyday. Don't know if it sped up the recovery, but it sure as hell smelled bad.

A friend went to the dentist today and was told by the hygenist that she must eat kimchi because her teeth are so straight.

Her reply, "First HIV now straight teeth is there anything this stuff can't do!"

I think someone should put together a full list of all the things kimchi is supposed to cure and make a website of it so we can see how silly it all is.
