Its a long story. You can check it out by doing a search on google for it or by going here.

The mods don't like the topic popping up here so all the threads have been deleted.

Hmmm, interesting article. I've never been to Korea but I've had plenty of experience with drunken Irish people and also experience being one too. 9 times out of 10, having worked in the night-club industry in Dublin, it's the people who are drunk who cause the problem. But as I said I don't know what Korea is like. The reason I was asking about where the groups of one nationality go is so as to avoid this kind of incident.

It's the same problem when one type of any nationality dominate one place and don't mix. Like the Israelis here in Ko Pha Ngan or the English in Spain or our good selves, the Irish in various places. It ain't pretty.
The cops here in Thailand seem to be similarly as helpful as the ones mentioned in the article. If you're a foreigner you're in the wrong or not worth helping but that's the way it works here. If people want secure and safe enviroments to be in, staying at home is the best idea. Not that it's the wild west or anything but it's just not living in the suburbs as a foreigner in Asia.

Its impossible not to mix here. The community is too small. I think it is not going to be how you are imagining it.

The Craik is good! Soho, Hollywoods, Woodstock (Itaewon), Leader's (Kangnam-gu office), Irish Bar (Yeoksam), 3 Alley Pub, etc.

More of the Craic rather than Craik please. There is no "K" in the Irish language.

So how do they spell f-u-c-k? fucc?
