My wife and I have been considering moving to Paju City. The apartments are new and very nice. The most important thing is that they are considerably cheaper than those in Seoul.
Does anyone know of any schools in Paju City? |

Rikus, do you know about the English Barn?
It is a government-sponsored year-round English camp for middle school students. Only English will be allowed to be spoken on the campus.
They are especially looking for teachers with performing talents. The teachers will live on the campus. They are taking applications until February, and they are promising a heck of a good salary.
Seems like a good job for the right person.
I decided not to apply because:
1. I'm the world's worst in teaching middle school students.
2. I want to learn Korean.
3. They ask for good references from former employers, and I can't supply any. |

Thank you for the response tomato. I don't know if it would be a good job for me. For one I am married and I just put a bun in the oven.
We are considering moving to Paju because we need a larger place. The prices are much lower in Paju than any other area we have checked. My wife's friend lives there and has convinced my wife that it is a good place to live plus there are many students who are looking for an English or Chinese teacher. My wife is korean who speaks mandarin perfectly and speaks very good english. She can teach all levels of Mandarin and can teach up to intermediate English. So she will teach out of our house. I don't have any performing talent. In fact I get stage fright. It may be in my best interest to work out of Ilsan. |
