Can anyone tell me which visa my husband would need to Work in Korea

I don't believe the working visa regulations have changed.

So Wanja u not a teacher?... he told me he went to korea on buisness visa and changed it to a working visa once he got there...still possible?[/list][/quote]

Nope, I'm not a teacher. For the working "E" series there have been no changes that I am aware of. I guess the "D" series don't apply (mostly investor and intra-company transfers) and there has been no change there.

I did not know that you could chnage from a business visit visa to a working visa without leaving the country. That is a surprise.

this was a few years back as i said i will speak again and see what he did exactly. i am not with him at the moment he is abroad so maybe i got it wrong, will ask again

What Wangja said - also, you CAN work on a spouse visa. My friend is doing just that.

According to him, you just need to find an employer to give him a job, get a contract, then take it to the immigration, and they will give you a piece of paper to take to the tax office or something.

Apparently, they are only concerned with whether you pay tax or not...

thanks tzechuck for the info..... I was wondering though if Korea was still recruiting foreigners much into factory work etc?
