I'm a hobbyist Astrologer and I was talking with a friend who does Tarot, his wife suggested that he try to set up a booth. Since superstition is a pretty huge market around these parts I was thinking about it myself. The problem is I am only a teacher (E-2) and bound to a **no outside employment agreement**, he on the other hand is married to a Korean (F-2?) so he may be able to dodge a deportation or two...
If I worked only for donations do you think I would be in danger of deportation? Could I be accused of doing a private lesson in a booth on the street with my Astrology software and laptop? |

of course you can get deported. what part of 'no outside employment' confuses you? it's not restricted to private lessons.
a friend of mine almost got busted DJ'ing at a club last month... immi showed up at 11pm on a tip. |
