The UN must be to busy berating Israel to kick up a fuss over this

I wish!

The UN condoned it. It still condones it, doesn't offer solutions, just says what the majority says.

No, I have no respect for the so called UN rule of law, it uses it when the dominant voice supports and ignores when it doesn't. People die and they turn their head and say "WE KNOW NOTHING!",

Sergeant Schultz style. Ignore them, they are self righteous hypocrites.

Most of the stuff I have was probably manufactured in China, it could be American owned at its source. But that doesn't stop me having the right to criticise badly thought out american actions. Nor does the fact that the clothes I wear are Chinese made prevent me from criticising Chinese totalitarinism and the threat that it could posit to the world at a later date if it doesn't change.

The good that a nation does, does not rule out the right of others to criticise the bad that it does. The good it does, just highlights the disparity between the two actions. By closing your eyes and ears to bad things like an ostrich does not make them go away, it just makes them more prevelant. History has shown that. So should I support or allow an action to be carried out through my silence, wouldn't that make me just as guilty in the long one as the one who commits the action.

E.g. He did it and I knew. I didn't say anything and by my silence albeitly condoned it.

I forgot about this thread.

What I'm saying is this. By purchasing goods made in China you are supporting, economically, the "Chinese totalitarinism and the threat that it could posit to the world at a later date if it doesn't change."

The same goes for American companies. Were not talking about the U.S. Government here... We're talking about good ol' greenback-loving capitalists.

Through the products you may purchase, you are not only not saying anything, you are actively condoning and supporting the very actions you say you don't approve of.
