Have any Canadians successfully obtained a criminal record check while living in Korea? I'm going after a public school job and will require one. My main concerns are how long it usually takes and procedure.
Thanks |

About 12 weeks. I also had to provide one for my public school job and that was how long it took. |

Did you go through the RCMP? Did they require finger prints? |

you need to check out the rcmp website. http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/crimrec/crimrec_e.htm
you need a complete set of rolled prints.
Your full name, birthdate and a money order for 25$ (or about there) then you have to mail it to ONT and supply a SASE and it will take anywhere from 12 weeks to 26 weeks for them to process it. |
