If you haven't listened to the home-made band music made and put up for review online these days, you really should listen. I consider this sort of thing the next revolution in music. The thing that saves us all from the recycled "Britney Spears" sounding crap flowing from manufactured pretty-people bands.
I just love www.GarageBand.com
Enjoying the music on there just makes me feel good. Kind of like I'm giving the collective "big brother" music industry people a big finger, or something. |

| I've used it for a couple of songs with my students. Alot of the music is available for legitimate mp3 download and some of the songs even have lyrics. It's great for intermediate and up. |

Looks like it's what MP3.com used to be. I found so many great bands on there from 1999-2000 that I still listen to today, as in, right now. I even became friends with some of them.
Thanks for the link. Obviously, I'm way overdue in finding new music. |
