In Iain M. Banks' science fiction novels and stories, "The Culture" is an extremely advanced galactic alliance of (mostly) humanoid aliens, run by superintelligent AIs called Minds. Detailed descriptions can be found here:

Let's assume that the Culture exists. If you had the opportunity, would you spend 2 years teaching English somewhere in the Culture? Would you drop what you are doing and go there at the earliest opportunity? If so, do you think you would want to stay for longer than 2 years? Would you "go native" and blend in as best you could? (Then again, if diversity is the norm, why conform?) Would you play the apologist if the primitives back on Earth spoke ill of the Culture's rumoured interference in the development of less advanced civilizations? Or defend it supposed rule by "unnatural" AIs?
Assume that you would be paid slightly less than what you would be paid in Korea. However, because money is not needed in the Culture, all you need to do is wire it back home. (Assume that they can cater for this). |

Do they have a V.I.P. room with bland food and overpriced drinks in this 'culture'? |

Everything is optimized for pleasure, with unwanted side-effects removed.
I deliberately chose this (fictional) example because it is a few steps away from being the opposite of South Korea. It is probably the exact opposite of North Korea. |
