Can anyone recommend a good, easy-to-use, torrent client for Mac? I'm not exactly computer-incompetent, but so far I haven't been able to find one that works (or, er, figure it out Embarassed)

I use BitTorrent on my Powerbook, and I haven't had any troubles with it yet!

i use azureus for my powerbook. if you are a beginner though i wouldnt recommend it. it has tons of crazy geek features that you will probably never need, and it seems to slow down my system if i leave it open for more than 2 or 3 days.

Tomato Torrent is a nice, simple no-frills client.

If you want something with a little more juice (but a few bugs - it's still an early release), check out Bits on Wheels.

OK, I must be retarded. I downloaded BitTorrent for Mac, and when I open it up I get a little window with "BitTorrent OSX" at the top, a few title bars with "status / name / transfer", and a handful of non-functioning buttons.

What now?
