I don't understand this poll...10 "entries", yet only one link provided. Please clarify.

Yeeeeah right.

(unmarried superhero meets super hot Korean girl that only gives her Cy homepage and tells him to come meet her there)

"Sorry baby, I guess that's that. It's a technical issue. Did you know Cyworld doesn't even function well with Firefox? I mean, that's insane. Why don't you get some open-source software first and then we can talk."

(rips up Cyworld adress)

Ha! I call bs on that one! Bs already and it's only 8 am!

BTW that *coughcough* bit was real. I wish it could stop so I could get some proper sleep.

Umm.. it has zero to do with firefox - it has to do with the crappiness of cyworld. They all look the same there's very little customizability involved and an over reliance on pop-ups. The only reason I go to cyworld is because my wife wont listen to reason. She started cyworld after we got married, so no I wouldn't have visited her cyworld before then.

So there is a way to get you on Cyworld once in a while. That's what I was wondering about.

The first time I ever saw Cyworld I wasn't that impressed and I'm still annoyed at how it seems to be built to prevent users from using it for anything but its stated purpose. That being said, it's indispensible for keeping in contact with people when you're overseas, image / file hosting is free and unlimited, I've met countless people through it, and you can even find people you haven't seen for a long time if you know their name and DOB.

I guess Cyworld's a little like the English language. Not the most user-friendly and not everybody likes it but most people make use of it from time to time.

No he doesn't. I know the op very well (4+ years, in person) and he's usually quite shy about that sort of thing. I think he's just bored in the country he's in now (not Korea anymore).

There are way better ways of upping one's count than posting a link on Dave's, that's for sure. Randomly visiting people's pages and leaving messages there, and then the person you get coming to visit you in return is a Korean girl (if you wish) as opposed to an ESLer in Korea.
