International Air Show to Open

An annual international air show featuring dozens of modern aircraft and weapons systems will be held in South Korea next week, organizers said Friday.
The Seoul Air Show, the sixth of its kind, will open Monday for a six-day run at the Seoul Air Base, south of Seoul, the organizers said.

A total of 43 types of sophisticated aircraft will be displayed and conduct flight demonstrations during the event.

Also on public display will be 27 types of modern tanks, artilleries, missiles and other weapons systems.

More than 40 military leaders and aerospace industry officials from 35 foreign countries are to participate in the event, they said.

Anyone know where this airport is located?

And will the new F-15s be on display?

Tap the 'English' Button on the top line by homepage.

Then the korean is easy to read.

Does it cost anything to attend?

Just read the site and didn't see any costs mentioned, but I could've missed it.

Try looking at "Visitor" 'General Admission'

Various costs depending on variables...

I came out figuring the best deal is the 'public days' which is Saturday 22 and Sunday 23. From 11am until 4;30pm. I'll go one day, maybe two.

Rumor has it that both Sat and Sun will be crowded as hell but if that doesn't bother you, enjoy!

BTW you can buy tickets at Woori Banks.

Hint. If you are a cheapskate or just want to avoid the maddening crowds climb up one of the mountains nearby for a grandstand view of the flight antics. I suggest Daemo san in Gaepo Dong /Kangnam or Namhansong in Songpa Gu.
