I don't live in Busan, so I can't give you any specifics.
The easiest way I know of to get seeds is to go online and order exactly what you want to be delivered to your home. Then have Mom put 'em in a small box labelled "Birthday Present". It's quite difficult to get seeds shipped directly here. I know. I tried it.
Potting soil is findable. Explain what you want to a Korean friend who will write out the word. Carry your note to a big traditional shopping area. Ask at a flower shop. If they don't have it, ask them (using the note) where you can. They should be able to direct you to the right shop.
Be careful you don't get stuck with a bag of sand. A lot of the flower shops use sand.
If you don't have a southern window, consider getting a grow light. They can be bought in Korea or you can have one sent from home. |
