Where can I buy things for a costume? Please list any shops you know of.

1. Your local Wal*Mart has a small selection, especially focusing on small children's costumes, and plastic/rubber weapons.

2. Namdaemun market has two little Halloween shops. I was able to buy handcuffs, and there were several rubber masks of various monsters.

There used to be one in Daegu, near Chungangno I think. Lots of masks for sale at street stalls in Itaewan as I recall.

One of those sequin-feather-stripper dress shops in Itaewon has witchy dresses, masks, props, etc. Between the firehouse & Rocky Mtn Tavern. She usually puts the Halloween stuff out on the street to display.

There's a good store called Partypia in Idae (it's probably a franchise, so I'm sure there are other locations). They have tons of Halloween stuff... mostly decorations, but they have a lot of costume stuff as well.

I second that. I got my boys a scream mask that pumps blood along it.

I went to Itaewon but didn't find much more than a few rubber masks. However the info desk there helped me find "ShinGiHan SeSang" aka www.HALLOWEEN.co.kr, which has a store near Sadang station. I got there this afternoon (it closes at 5) and found it had an extraordinary selection (considering that it was in Korea). I was able to find some high quality accessories for my costume. Other stores seem to have costumes (aka rubber masks) but none of the accessories like makeup, weapons, fake noses, etc. I won't give away what my costume is, but I got some nice things to complete it, and I got a catalog to share with my boss.

I guess online is the best way to buy this stuff if you know what you want.

I looked at COEX today, but I can't find face-paint (white, blue, black) anywhere. Has anyone seen it?

E Mart have a good selection of halloween stuff. They do in Suncheon anyway, I would presume that other stores are similarly stocked. Smile
